Thanks to its CPP head, high feeder capacity and replaceable gantries, the new SIPLACE SX is the world’s first machine whose capacity can be adapted to ever faster product changeovers and often dramatically fluctuating customer requirements ("capacity on demand"). In addition, visitors to the SIPLACE stand will experience "live" new line and setup concepts which can produce even the smallest lot sizes with speed and efficiency – thanks to fully integrated SIPLACE software solutions for planning, setup, control and analysis.

The core component of the new SIPLACE strategy is the new SIPLACE SX machine generation. For the first time, the concept of change was elevated to a functional principle in a new design: the gantries of the SIPLACE SX can be installed or de-installed in only a few minutes. Measuring a total length of only 1.5 meters, 120 intelligent SIPLACE feeder modules deliver an exceptionally wide component spectrum and plenty of capacity. In combination with the new SIPLACE MultiStar CPP head, which always selects the best placement mode (Pick&Place, Collect&Place or the highly flexible mixed mode), SIPLACE SX lines are always optimally balanced without efficiency-killing reconfigurations – even in extremely high-mix environments. If necessary, gantries and thus placement capacity can be easily moved between placement machines and between lines.
 
Another central focus point of SIPLACE's Productronica presence will be the demonstrations of new setup and manufacturing solutions. The SIPLACE team will present itself not only as an innovation and technology leader, but show off its process optimization experience and competency. Supported by powerful software, SIPLACE is able to configure optimized solutions for all products and production models that make build-to-order possible in electronics manufacturing. For example, the SIPLACE team will show how the interaction between intelligent SIPLACE feeders and the SIPLACE LES software makes it possible to switch setups with no production stops and produce even the smallest lots with maximum efficiency.
